I worked at PNC and I would advise everyone to switch banks and NOT use PNC. Their company policies do not allow the employees to give customers any slack and they are unethicial in their practices. When you see PNC, RUN! |

i had told them that if i didn't have enough money in my account to not approve any charges sine they offer that. not only did they transfer 1000 dollars to my other account with out my approval they also charge me 268 dollars in fees for transferring the money. if that wasn't bad enough when i had called them to see what was going on no one wanted to take my call every one keep say please hold im a transfer you after a hr of that i finally drove over there and told them eater they give me my money back from there fees because i had told them not to move things with out my approve or im calling the police because they are stilling from me. then they could magicaly fine out what had happen and put the money back in 16 days.they had done this two time to me. |

I'm so tired of WF taking out my money for nothing. They don't post what they're taking your money out for. I too miss Wachovia!!!!!! I'm not sure what exactly they're charging me for. In times like these, people are struggling for every penny and they're taking out all of this money? I personally think it's so they can get overdraft fees out of the poorer customers. |

I miscalculated my bank balance by $4.00 and BBT bounced a check and charged me $35.00. That was okay and fair. However, BBT knew my Social Security check was coming in that night electronically as it had for over a year. I contacted the payee of my check immediately and made arrangements to pay it. Without my permission, BBT that night paid the check and charged me another $35.00. That is gouging.Totakl $70.00. Also, I had a Senior Checking Account that was free. Every 4 or 5 months BBT would charge me a $9.00 maintenance fee. I would then contact them and they would remove it saying, "Sorry,we made a mistake". Mistakes don't occur that regulartly. I am convinced that BBT did not expect me to notice the fee. I dropped them like a hot potato after the gouging. |

The new "improved" website experience is a bust. Its overly complicated and very slooooow. To top it off the old website would show current balance + available balance (that would include pending bill payments not yet sent out). Now it just shows “current balance”. A huge step backwards! Or are they just trying to set us up for overdraft fees? To add insult to injury, when I asked about this they said they had never included pending bill pays in the available balance. As if I had not been using web banking for years and wouldn't notice! |

Been a customer of Chase for 10 years. I was late one time a year ago on charge card and they jacked my rate to 29%. I have two other cards and was late on them the same time due to family issue and one went up 5% and the other stayed my current 12.9%.
I guess I pay Chase twice, my tax money for bailout and my intrest rates. |

What a rip off company...I MISS WACHOVIA!!!!! Well Fargo charges you for any and everything...I am looking to close both my accounts with them just as soon as I find a DECENT bank! Do any actually exist???? Wells Fargo is nothing but a rip off company. They took almost $700 out of my savings for what they called overdraft and MISC. fees??? What fee costs $700????? There should have never been an overdraft fee if THEY deducted my payments on MY scheduled days and NOT when THEY FELT LIKE it!!!!! I hate this bank! In fact there were many picketers outside several branches recently for the same reasons I have listed!!! |

Sorry to hear about everyone getting screwed at BOA. Im only 25 years old and not once have igotten screwed like that. I only have a basic checking account, so maybe thats why? Lol I think chase only wants rich people banking with them nowadays. It's always good to know someone at places like this I guess. To avoid the headaches. Recently they sent me a replacement bank card because they were afraid some third party might've gotten my info. I applaud them for that. |

Customer service is lacking. They stopped pay on an entire box of checks they sent to me without informing me. I used one and of course it was returned. They are refusing to pay the fee the other bank charged. Very disappointed and the only thing he kept telling me was that it was my fault, I should have checked with the bank. Not happy with PNC at all anymore. |

I am in the process of taking my business elsewhere. Wachovia has to be the worst bank I ever banked with ... that is saying a lot when considering that I used to live in a tiny 300 people community in Germany with a bank that only opened twice a week. At any rate their depositing system is like 20 years behind... even said bank in Germany would accept my money as in my account a minute after i deposited it... Wachovia oh hell no I go there direct deposit and it still takes till after midnight to deposit it... meantime a charge hits my account which was taken out of my account at 11.59 pm and my deposit went in at 0.02 am WTF Wachovia not only did you bounce the payment, no you decided to charge me 35 dollars on a 5 dollar charge even though I had given your greedy worthless institution 500 dollars 8 hours before you charged me. That was the last straw and me and my husband had enough of their shenanigans, we are opening with a bank that does indeed have real direct deposit. |

i loved my wachovia banking, great on line banking, very reasonable policies, but now,, after switching to wells fargo, omg! what happened to my beloved bank? they have been HORRENDOUS in the 2 weeks i have had to do business with them since the wachovia changeover. a dollar charge to use my visa check card? a 10 day hold on my deposits based on a "risk asesment"? wtf is a "risk asesment"? this new wells fargo is ungodly. im here reviewing banks to find another place to keep my money. stay away from wells fargo, they are criminals! |

I had over $4500 in checks, debit card transactions and web bill pays in one day. I forgot about one check for $225 that I wrote almost 40 days ago. It hit the same day (so they say). Using simple math i went over $55, Using wachovia math well...
They put all trans thru all transactions largest to smallest so then they bounced 8 checks at $35 each (3 were under $10). That's $280 then told me they paid the checks as a courtesy to me.

Maintanence fees go up without warning!!!! One month it is 9.00 the next month it is 15.00 ..... No waring. Money in the bank and direct deposit and still main fees go up. These people are no better than the common robbers on the streets. |
